Meet the Team
TAIWAN LA'RUE
Taiwan grew up in a poverty stricken neighborhood, and always wanted different for himself. In 2018, at 18 years old, he became the founder of 1WayOut. He started this business because he was tired of seeing people fall victim to gentrification. While playing football for Lackawanna College, he majored and obtained a degree in Business (2021). Taiwan now uses these assets to excel at his professions, engage with the public to identify these economic issues, and motivate others to become the best versions of themselves.
ZAY DAVIS
Zay Davis grew up aware of people in his community accepting failure and wanted to be a difference maker. He met a person just like him (Taiwan) with a mythology of life called 1WayOut. Together, they use 1WayOut to make an impact on communities and strive people to vision a successful future for themselves. As Zay continues to follow his historic path at the University of Slippery Rock, he’s still being impactful in his community.
